Jeffery A. Johnson - Partner

Jeff joined May Oberfell Lorber upon graduating from law school in 1980, and has since helped set a standard for ethical, conscientious client service. Concentrating his practice areas on commercial litigation, bankruptcy, corporate counseling, commercial transactions and loan workouts, he’s also Chairman of the Advisory Board for LEGUS, an international network of leading law firms. He devotes time to numerous community service activities, and enjoys spending weekends at his family’s lake cottage.

  • Represented the seller of an international pet food company in a $30 million sale
  • Successfully defended Key Bank in a lawsuit seeking $95 million through federal district court and appeal to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals
